Does anyone have any recommendations for what settings to use on the fluval marine and reef 750 mm light. It is on the 32.5 gallon flex tank

Are these the 3.0 ? I had the 1 and 2.0 before going with Corona RapidLED.

I believe the 3.0s have pre set options you can use to start, and they publish PAR maps. Absent of using a par meter I have used the manufactures par mapping to estimate how much light to dial up.

As for spectrum, Dana RIddle has spectrum mixes in his Lighting forum. I then tried to match that.

Then I changed my ramp up and ramp down to my lifestyle. I limit the full ons to just 2 hours midday with a long ramp down in the eve so I can enjoy the tank when I get home.

That one stock light might not be enough for an anemone.

no need to guess. Fluval published PAR mappings.

I had the 24". (similar to 750mm) and was sufficient to grow mixed reef corals

Edit:

He can get the second one. Would that work?

see above

3.0 but the presets had the whites at 70-100 and barely any blues on the three presets

I’ve been playing around with it and ended up with this. Everything seems to be happy.

understood

I can't find the PAR mapping . It should be on the box.

Here is a review thread on the site. I have not read it since an early post I made. I had my own review thread for the 2.0's but hopefully this one will help the OP

I just about have my flex to the point where i’m ready to stock and start running my lighting schedule. From your pictures it looks a lot like what i want to put in mine. I just wanted to see how those parameters have been working out for you.

Thanks
