Tank has now turned 1 year old. Been a crazy year for this tank. I think it’s the reason I’ve started losing hair at 27. But the last 3-4 months have really taken a turn for the better. Hopefully this year it all starts to grow in.

Haven't updated this thread in a while. Moved some stuff around since my last photos. Crazy to see how much it has changed and grown in 6 months. I thought everything was growing pretty slowly until i saw those pictures. Everything is still going strong on the tank. Just wish some of these frags would grow up instead of base out so much.

Loved the read man. I'm starting same build for the most part and wanted to know other than your tank maturing do you think the improvements came after swapping out the ap700? Love kessils and really want a ap700 hybrid setup to work.

I don’t think it was changing out the lights 100% I think it was the fact I was going barebottom. Once I put the sand in it seems like everything did a 180 in the right direction. I do think the AP700 had a better look it it than the radions. But it’s hard to beat the blanket coverage In par I get now with the diffusers on the radions. The AP700 definitely had hot spots. I would wait and get the new AP9X that’s supposed to be coming out soon. Unless you can get a good deal on 700’s

Gotcha, thanks for the info man.
Edited to add that unfortunately I already have the ap700. But if that doesn't work out I'll move on to the next best kessil for the hybrid. I'm at work but would like to pick your brain some more later!
