I like it!
Simple, not over-done, makes it easy to maintain and with any luck, flourish!
Thank you! It doesn’t feel simple, for the fact that this is probably the longest it’s ever taken me to set up a tank. But I wanted to make sure everything was done right and efficient.

Well, I made what might be a stupid decision last night. We shall see if it is dumb or not, in the long run. Sold my Radions, probably going to be going the Kessil, Redsea, or AI route. Have not decided yet - but I never intended to use Radions in the first place. Got a good deal on them, made some money selling them last night as well - so stay tuned for what is next!

Well, got the new lights in. Decided to go with AI Prime 16HD’s, since it integrates nicely with my Nero 5’s. The light is quite fantastic and I already enjoy how much less harsh they are, and the shimmer is AMAZING! Only ordered 2 for now since I do not have corals - will be adding another 2 probably in a few months.

Also got a tiny bit more wire management done, skimmer semi-dialed in, and did a 25 gallon water change.

Next up is finally tackling the outside of this stand to make it look decent. Hopefully making a Home Depot run tomorrow, weather permitting!

Finally got my DIY egg crate skimmer stand made and this thing is FINALLY working & pulling skim.

I’m so relieved because let me tell you how frustrating it’s been, not being able to dial in this skimmer at the wrong heigh LOL (was roughly 2” too deep).

It’s been a minute, but today I acquired another dream fish of mine. He’s extremely skittish so it’s hard to get a photo - I’m sure he will warm up over the next week or so. But I am absolutely thrilled to finally have a Splendid Pintail Fairy Wrasse

Got some better pictures of the splendid pintail! He also ate today, so that’s good news.
