I was looking at possibly going with two Kessil AP9X lights but I`m not sure if the center brace will have a negative effect on it? Thought?

No, that is more than fine, but you will get better overall less shadowing using 2 a360x and 2-3 48" Lumenbar v2 or Orphek or3 bars, imo, and it can save some money for other reef stuff. Par should be similar as well.

Yes. I like the shimmer factor and the fact that APX9 was specifically designed for a rectangular shape. Thanks for the input though. I will research some of that as well.

Yea it really is an impressive light but is in reality it is 2 a360x with wifi control, even has a huge spread of up to 48" so 2 would more likely just be overkill

I would go for 2, a360x with 1 lumbenbar pro v2 high octane uv, and an orphek or3 sky blue. kessil is great with their own kessil spectrum (to change overall color without changing par) so i wouldnt even buy the controller unless you wanted ramping, if you have an apex i dont think you even need to buy the controller at all, not sure if you have one. I would maybe add a 3rd bar if you wanted to just do sps top to bottom but that would be a lot of par
