Nothing much change just corals growing steadily. I moved some corals around as they were starting to encroach on other corals or to optimize the open sand bed.

Staggered Lighting. One side off

Looks great, keep up the awesome work. Love the daylight look, and up until my current build, have always run halide.

Trying out the A500X (turned to mostly white) supplemented with 50/50 XHO. Trying hard to mimic the halide shimmer (and punch).

Will be checking in....

Cheers

Still mostly the same.
Removed one powerhead and moved the other one on the other side for more random flow.

Had to put my 2 part doser back on as kalk was not keeping up with the demand 2 weeks ago.

Then after a week i had an unfortunate event where the 2 part dosing tube split only on the alk side. I was using old ro tubing so it was not as flexible. So it was only dosing calcium not the alk side.
Calcium was 500 ppm from 400 ppm
Alkalinity from 8.3 dkh to 5.4 dkh.

So i dosed 6 tsp of sodium bicarbonate manually to raise to back to 8.3 dkh.
Rate of 1 tsp mixed in ro warer per 30 min.
Ph went from 8.1 to 8.0 everytime i dose then back to 8.1 within 15 min.
So it took 3 hours to raise it back to 8.3 dkh.
Thats 3 dkh in 3 hours.
Corals never skipped a beat or had any reaction.

Fastest growing
birdnests
Milka stylo
Orange tip staghorn acro
Fox flame acro
Purple acro

Everything is filling it nicely.

Glad to hear your tank is doing nicely after that incident with the tubes splitting!
