We will move on to other projects until Sunday and get back on the mounting of the floating aquariums. That is if the water test is successful.

Next up is framing the 12 foot stand and the troughs and stands for them.

Once we have the mounts all done for the small tanks things will progress very quickly.

Absolutely. Relaxing, with lots of productivity on the tank. Can't ask for more than that.

I will tell you that nearly 100 year old brick is almost impossible to anchor to. We finally found some screws that worked after predrilling. It took a 1/2" hammer drill and a bosch 4 flute hammer drill bit.

No pretty, but functional.

If I wanted to send some new old stock items for this program should I wait until you get non-profit status?

You don't need to wait. Even if we don't get the status, we are still going to do it. I can't see punishing the veterans because I can't get out of taxes. We will just do it as individuals.

Well, this was big stand weekend!

We build the stand for the 12 foot tank.

Then we build the monster 16 foot stand for the coral troughs.

Finally we cut out all the parts for the troughs and assembled one and test fit the glass. Would have sucked if we got it completely done and the glass didn't fit. LOL!

We decided we are going to put glass in the end toward the street so people walking down the sidewalk can see in the tank.

I am really happy to see my plan for the frag tanks worked out so well. They are each 96x36x11.25 outside dimensions.
There will two and they hold about 145 gallons each. Doesn't seem like a lot but there is a ton of real estate to stock corals in.

I have a 32" flat screen TV you could mount between those windows and stream BRS and other educational/awareness videos on. I think that space would be ideal...did I mention FREE? I'll even supply a DVD player.
