Hi Lori! Tom shared with me this thread and since we just ordered a new tank ourselves and started our own thread for it.

First load of corals on the way this coming week. Frag tank is up and running. Only thing left on dt is plumbing the 80w UV and the Genesis Renew water changer. Added a few new fish, Bella Goby, Labouti wrasse and a Scott’s Fairy wrasse. Upgraded skimmer, BM Curve 36.

How do you like that skimmer, i was considering it since we liked the cuve 7 on our 90G.

another thing that we were thinking about getting was these lids, and if you say they are cat proof thats good enough for me lol, but seriously though i love how they have the food doors so you don't have to take the whole lid off to feed.



Once we get the tank up and running, be ready for lots of messages from Tom asking for fish advice lol

Skimmer works well, only thing I don’t like is it takes a while for the bubble to reach the neck so the neck stays dirty but it pulls some junk. I’ll pm Tom about the lids.
