Tony great looking tank and photos! Sorry to hear about the accident. I hope recovery is going well. Keep the photos coming. Happy new year. Your tank is making me rethink lighting.

Some of the digitate acros soaking up the light.

Oh man this picture makes me excited! Well done! Not many people keeping these, I wish more would try so we could get more Aquacultured pieces of these nubby acros in the hobby. Beautiful!!!

Hi Tony
How you feeling these days?
Mike said we are doing another road trip on Feb. 6th, will we see you there?
If so, is there any treats I can bring you??

I'm doing alright, starting to hit the gym again & ditch some of this flab I gained by drowning my post-accident misery in junk food lol. At the moment, I'm not sure if I'm coming. The only one I need back at some point is the blueberry fantasy, but that's a tall order!

Good news I still have the Blueberry Fantasy.
Bad news is I have made 4 or 5 frags of it and none have survived.
Is this a hard one to frag?
Side note, I won't be at Lear this year, we scheduled a 3 week trip to South America.

That's why it's a tall order lol. It's like the pink panther, you have to let the frags sit on top of the mother colony for a week or so before gluing.

Is that not risky? I would be scared any flesh coming off frags that don’t make it might affect the mother colony. Or do all of them survive if you cut the frags and let them sit on top of the colony?

It's an old trick Ken Feldman used to use to increase survivability. They seem to not melt when they're in the mother colony. My guess is they sense its presence and try to re-fuse rather than give up on life.
