Ah, I see you guys are in eastern WI. I live in Chicago, but I also have a house in Port Washington and I’m up there nearly every other weekend. I guess I’m what you’d call a typical FIB.

Back in the late 80s they where pretty common to find in the LFS.. now days they have gone through the roof in price. I’m pretty certain they got over farmed. Still a great looking fish. Grats on a beauty.

Ca1ore and I may be in the minority but I also love their adult appearance. Subtle but also beautiful. Seeing large adults when we were diving in Hawaii a couple of years ago was one of the high lights of the trip!
