This was the beginning of the algae. It had more than doubled since. I removed most of it this afternoon, almost five cups. Will my critters be able to live without it ? How much is too much to take out? I have a fox face, tomini tang, starry Blenny, two urchins , some snails, and a harlequin bass. I had a dozen hermit crabs, they were murdered the first night in the tank. Oh , and two clowns. I hope I didn’t mess up taking out all that algae.

Hello, hope all is well

You video did not play for me.

A few thoughts in general. If you pulled out 5 cups there is probably still enough remnants for everyone. As long as you still feed everyone will be fine. I would look into why you are getting so much algae to see if you can control it at the source.
