Nice roughly the same size then. Eventually I’ll clear it out and make it a frag tank for my 210 but that will be awhile.
thats my plan, ive always thought about a shallow tank with an island and mangroves on one side, reef on the other.

somebody on the forum has a real nice one

Well came home last night and noticed my Red Dragon frag had RTN'd and the other one had started. I fragged that one and re-glued. I also noticed a few white areas on my blue tort. I pulled it out to check for AEFW but didn't see anything. Put it back in the tank. Noticed a couple corals weren't super happy but others looked great.

This morning checked on them before work and the Red Dragon looks to be STN'ing. Also noticed more white spots on my Blue tort. This tort has been good for two months now growing. Don't know whats happening.

My Alk has been dropping lately so I have been slowly increasing my calcium reactor effluent rate. Only bumped it up like 2ml/ min over the course of the last few days. and Alk is in the 8.5 range as of last night. Had been in the 8.8 for ever then down to 8.3 and have been trying to get it back to 8.8. I figured the corals were all starting to encrust and you could see a lot of new growth so just attributed the drop to that.

I'm going to dip a couple of the problem corals tonight and see if I can find anything. Also going to add some poly filter to see if that pulls out anything. Only thing I can think is my niece and nephew were over at my house last weekend visiting my fiance while I was away up north ice fishing. My fiance said my nephew did spend awhile looking at the tank. I have a lid on my display but my sump is open. Going to pull everything out of there tonight and make sure he didn't add anything. Also going to do a 20percent water change.

Also, going to test all my parameters and use a new bottle of the Hanna reagent to confirm my alk consumption/ levels.

Well, I lost the Red dragon frag, but the Blue tort is fine. It's actually doing better than ever, and over the last couple weeks encrusting the plug more and looking great! All other corals are happy besides a few days where the polyp extension was horrible and corals didn't look happy. Later found out my T5's had been running all night as I sometimes turn them on after the lights go out tocheck on things in the tank. Must have left them on. Since getting them back to their auto schedule on the apex, all corals look happy as ever. The poly filter never pulled anything out, besides some algae. I did go to a local reefers house recently and got another PC Superman. Also picked up a frag of tyree pink lemonade, TSA Bill Murray and a rainbow frag... not PC but cant remember the name off the top of my head. All frags are doing great and I can't wait for them to start growing out! Also ordered a new driver for my other MP60 as that had rust on the potentiometer. I think I might still be able to repair but didn't want to wait for 100 bucks. The 210 gallon is all cycled and doing good. Now just need to buy the modular marine overflow and I think I might just put a cheap black box over it to start getting coraline to algae to grow. I'm also waiting on two premium lightning maroon clowns from a local breeder and I think I will put them in there. As long as all corals stay healthy int he 70gal I don't think I'm going to be adding more coral. Just let these grow out until the 210 is going good with coraline then possibly move them over to that. Will try and get some updated growth photos soon! Thanks for reading!
