Hello everyone that is reading this
We are a couple from Amsterdam and first of all ill apolgise for the grammar errors in english

After a few years in the freshwater hobby we decided to upgrade to salt

So after some investigation we bought a new red sea reefer 525xl deluxe

We started with dead rock for an easier aquascape build 20210202_164600.jpg

3x reefled 90s
Red sea skimmer 600
Aquamedic 9.2 return pump
2x reefwave 45

After the cycle we started with a few fish:
Lawnmower blennie (henkie is dutch)
2 clown
And a cleaner wrasse
Also a handfull of snails hermits en 2 cleaners shrimp

And a month later we put in A foxface with a tang 20210323_151520.jpg
Then after a few weeks we bought 2 more tangs and some time later we got 9 anthiasses

Everything was thriving until my nitrates got high and started to dose nopox, my biggest mistake ever

The nopox flattend out my po4 and we started to get dino's and to make things worse we got marine velvet because a lfs had velvet from his wholeseller

I tried to save most of my fish in a qt tank and thought that they were oke started get colour back and no more spots
A week later they all died

Now after 2 months battling with dinos i think ive won it and now we starting it up more slowly putting in more corals etc
