The time has come for me to post about “The Very Last Reef Tank” I’ll ever own; I know for many of you this may be only the beginning, but for me it has been a long road to get up to this point (Not only because the endless debate and careful selection of tank and equipment, but also for the nearly 20 years in reef keeping that took me to get to this point).
In essence, I wanted a reef between 40 and 70 gallons that was fairly manageable; something capable of holding a decent size aqua-scape and with enough space for my favorite livestock; something that could carry the necessary equipment without going insanely overboard... But most importantly, something up to par with my skills that I can enjoy developing instead of driving myself crazy with additional challenges that usually tend to turn our loved hobby into one more chore.
So here we go boys and girls, let this be The Tale of Juan’s Red Sea Reefer 250
