Hi,
So I received a coral order 2 weeks ago and have slowly been increasing the light exposure over that time. I had my hands in my tank today so I could position the frags in their (hopefully) final positions. As I was doing so I grazed the elkhorn and a small tip of a branch (very top leftsnapped off and fell onto the rocks. I was able to retrieve it and I glued it to a small piece of rubble. I have attached photos of the branch that broke and the little frag. Anything specific I need to watch out for on the colony or frag to see if they are in trouble?
my lights are a single Red Sea 50 running the acclimation cycle for the next 21 days starting at 80%. Any input would be appreciated. My first SPS for this tank. Tank is about 15 months old, 29G.
full tank shot for fun.
