so i am not sure if i posted this is the right place or not, but i am hoping some one can tell me what this little guy is? is it an acro crab that i have heard so much hype about? when i was looking at him he looked a lot fuzzier? maybe harrier? and more orange in color, but this is the best photo i could get of him at the time.

We have the same species in one of our large acro colonies that we've had for several years and it has never caused any issues.

I had one in mine and went on a vacation came home and he had killed a small colony and almost killed another one. Let's just say he's not in there anymore.

That doesn't look like any acro crab I've ever seen, but, of course, who's to say I've seen them all :)

Most I've seen are a lighting color and "smooth" looking - not hairy

Bad crab for sure. I know it sounds terrible but I usually squeeze these guys with a tiny screwdriver immediately.

They will damage acros.

Here's a great link on acropora crabs

Not a great pic of ours:

He's in the large green acro colony above the Desjardini Tang:

Our Desjardini is about 10" in size to give an idea of the size of the colony. The colony was about 3" when we got it.

That's a bad crab!!! He will devour Millie's.... Best thing to do is give that coral a bath in revive and problem solved.... The good acro crabs are smooth and tan with a black bandana on... White pinchers for the most part also...
