So I wanted to add some more lighting with my Kessil 360X and had AI blade in storage. It is possible to use the AI blade mount clips to mount the Blade with the A360X on the A-series mount from Kessil and it looks really good. Sharing as I Didn’t find anything on this. You will only catch a couple of threads so you can leave as is or grab longer fasteners or shave the holes some. I was good with it “as is”. I think you could probably put the cord in the frame as well but I didn’t want to disturb the light cycle so screw it.

Awesome solution! We were talking about something similar the other day with AI mounts!!! I am gonna share your thread in that thread!
I don’t know enough about the Kessil mounts. Did you find it was possible to do this with the single arm AI mounts also?

I have not tried it personally but should be possible depending on the size of screw used to mount the blade. There is a channel in the prime mount already, so if the screw for the blade is thin enough to fit through the channel it should be simple. If not, would likely require drilling a small hole in the prime mount. If I ever get a blade I will try it.

I am doing the same thing on my 36" long tank but with a quanta bar meso blue, which I think is heavier. No issues and really makes the tank pop.

it should be noted that trying this with those gooseneck mounts would probably be a bad idea. The regular Kessil arms are very nice.

Thanks for sharing. Do you have any close up pictures of what you did to connect the mount to the lights? I’m thinking about doing a similar setup.
