So I need more sand under my eels home rock it's become to thin under it it was fine when he first came in but now I watch him struggle a little to fit after a feeding which is when I noticed the need for more sand in that area I bought more but how do I minimize ticking the eel off by moving his rocks and laying new sand down(I know no matter what he's ganna hate it)

A little slow-going, put how about using a piece of 1” pvc pipe and a plastic funnel to shoot the sand right where you want it (like you say— to not get eel-bitten).

That's true same result less hands in the trigger has bit me before hes just to small to do damage yet but those teeth on the eel.... rather not and say I did lift the rock pvc to under it(also I don't have to remove the rock entirely)
