Some of those pics should be printed and maybe some posters of collections
HEY! Sorry for the late reply, I'm not on here as much as I should be. Your pictures are fantastic! To answer your question about the camera, yes. Newer cameras help in different areas but ultimately its the user. Im a Nikon guy but the fundamentals are all the same. As far as filters it really just depends on what you're wanting to achieve, the more blue you have in a tank the more warmth in the color spectrum you're going to need. That can be achieved with a filter or in camera WB or post, its all the same. When I'm doing tank shoots if its lit with a deep blue sometimes its easier to throw a filter on than spend the time tweaking the WB. As far as other filters its a touchy subject. You could throw a green filter on and adjust the WB properly and still end up with the same end result.First let me say I am a HUGE fan and have been "stalking" you on FB and here. I think your photographs are truly amazing!!
Not that I want you to give out any trade secrets, but once upon a time I took decent photos as well, but now with the advent of blue LED lighting I struggle to get quality photos that I feel are worth sharing. I just now ordered a Tiffen 85b orange filter for my camera, and I have Lightroom classic, but my question is do you feel my 15 year old Canon Rebel T1i and 100mm macro are up to the task or is it time to invest in some new equipment, and are there other filters you recommend investing in? Anyways, thanks again for sharing the amazing pictures, and thanks in advance for any thoughts or suggestions.
Your Huge Fan in NY,
Joe
