Hello! I have been looking at fish for a while and have decided on these. I will need some removed and please suggest thing I might need to do. Fish with * in their names have notes at the bottom please read the notes. I would like to keep The Walking Batfish. :)

*1 - 2x Red Sea Regal Angelfish
*1x Coral Beauty / Potter's Angelfish / Black Nox Angelfish
1x Blue Hippo Tang / Yellow Belly Hippo Tang
1x Purple Tang
*1x Powdered Brown Tang / Powdered Blue Tang / Or another kind of Tang
*1x Harlequin Tusk Fish
*1 - 2x Leopard Wrasse
*1 - 2x Melanarus Wrasse
1x Ruby Longfin Fairy Wrasse
1x Carpenters Flasher Wrasse
1x Exquisite Fairy Wrasse
*1x Starry Blenny
*1x Midas Blenny
*1x One Spot Foxface
*1x Copperbanded Butterflyfish
*1x Flame Hawkfish
*1x Green Mandarin
2x Orange Blood Clownfish
1x Marine Betta
*3 - 6x Banggai Cardinalfish
*1x - ?x Royal Gramma
*1x Walking Batfish
1x Zebra Moray Eel

Regal Angelfish Note: (I know with caution) (Leaning toward one but not sure about a pair.)
Dwarf Angelfish Note: I am fine without these just throwing them in there
Tang #3 Note: I will be fine without another Tang just putting out possibilities
Harlequin Tuskfish Note: I know with caution and talked about this in another thread
Leopard Wrasse and Melananrus Wrasse Note: I would like to have a pair of at least one of these types but I am fine if not.
Blennies Note: If only one Blenny make sure [ Midas < Starry ]
Copperbanded and Foxface Note:
Should I be ok with these or are they not good for reef tanks? I heard if well fed they should be good.
Flame Hawkfish Note: A lot of people suggest this fish but I am not convinced but just throwing it in.
Green Mandarin Note: +1 Year
Banggai Cardinalfish Note: Either these are an easy Anthias because I do not want to feed like 100 times a day for them.
Royal Gramma Note: Should I go for it and how many?

Please add or remove some from the list if needed and feedback is highly appreciated! Thank you very much!
*Of course, I could not add them all

Others on here will be much better with temperament issues between species. My recommendation is to take a long time adding all those fish and have a very good skimmer. 1 maybe 2 fish a month and keep up on water changes.

Ok a lot to go though might miss some of the fish above.

Regal angel - can nip corals like most angels, would go with one not 2, will be difficult to get an actual mated pair.

Dwarf angels if you are doing more than 1 best to be added simultaneously to avoid aggression issues of one already settled in. Again can nip corals, ime fleshy lps are the main target if they do.

Tangs, purple and pbt are at the higher end of tang aggression, if you were going a route of multiple tangs; pick from different families and add simultaneously.

I would skip the bat fish, marine beta if want smaller fish.

Wrasses, as a general rule they do not pair. Similar to anthias they form harems, except these are much more fluid and change sex more often. And almost always in an aquarium one will kill the other.

Copperband and fox face can coexist, both can nip corals. The butterfly more likely to but much less likely than most other butterflies.

Hawkfish are great fish, active not overly aggressive except to very small shrimp.

Hope this helps narrow down the list.

I love the flame hawk, I have one flame and one falco. I have a reef so I cant speak on the big Angel's. But I do have a flame angel and hes great, Beautiful fish and so far hasn't touched any of my coral. I have a royal gramma and hes a butt and nips at fish 10x his size. Love my wrasses(we've talked about this on another thread)

Take your time adding. I have a stocked tank. People would say too many. But I run a giant skimmer and do consistant maintenance.. I dont feed my corals. That's what the fish food and waste is for. And I maintain nitrates around 5. So I dont tell people they have too many. But I just say add slow to allow your system to adjust. And make sure your filtration can keep up with your demands as your fish grow.

1. Ok, thanks for going with one. :)
2. Ok thanks, I will check that and come back here.
3. I will skip the Batfish since I just learned they do eat live fish and I hate feeding live fish. I do want to try the Marine Betta though.
4. Ok, thanks!
5. Thanks. :)
6. Thanks, I will look more into Hawkfish.
It will narrow it down by a bit and I will be back with another list. Thanks!

Regal and copper banded would be my first two fish added. Get them both established and eating before adding aggressive tank mates. Good luck. Both are difficult fish to get settled.

Add the harlequin tusk last. Although normally ideal citizens bear in mind they are extremely tough fish when older.

I love mine and he has been great since I got him at 1” but at 4” now he doesn’t take any ****
