Hello,

I have just got a few corals, they seem to be doing well apart from candy cane it wont open like the photos I see online. I had them in Styrofoams for about 41 Hours drive, thankfully no loss :) it has been 3 days now since in Display tank, shall I wait for a few days until they adapt? I have Aquaforest AF Energy shall I target feed the corals or just pour the food into tank and let them catch they flow in the tank?

I will add photos later as I don't have them now.

It will take time for corals to adapt to their new environment. Light, temp, water - it's like they moved not only into a new house, but onto a completely different continent. It may take weeks - or months - for them to settle in.

I have Aquaforest AF Energy shall I target feed the corals or just pour the food into tank and let them catch they flow in the tank?
You should only be using 1 drop per 100L (27gal), so I'm not sure how you would target feed that into the tank - just add the drop or two into the tank when the corals have extended their polyps (e.g; are feeding).

Thanks for the info. What I have done previously when the lights go into moon mode I add 2-3 drops in to a cup filled with tank water stir it then pour it into tank. I have around 400liters of water in total.

By target feeding them just using the coral feeder I pour the stirred water with Af energy to the corals mouth.

Here are some photos I have:

Nice looking critters. :)

I don't think there's any need to target-feed anything I see. But there's also very likely to be no harm, either. So it's more about whether you see target feeding your corals as a chore, or a joy. If the latter; go for it. If the former; skip it.

Thank you, I will wait then if the candy cane still doesnt open up more than it is now, I will try target feeding it. Although I tried to put some pellets on the mouth but my sailfin tang doesnt let them stay there :D
