After upgrading my light, my corals seem angry.

Hey all, I’m pretty new to reefing but I’ve been running my current tank for about a year now. I was using an orbit marine led strip but recently upgraded to echotech’s radion XR15. It’s suspended about 8-10” above my 15 gallon nano tank and I’m running the AB+ template at about 50% intensity. Ever since, my Kenya tree only partially expands and roughly half of my Zoas no longer open up. There’s been no other changes to my tank so I’m pretty sure the light is the culprit. Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong?

Hard to tell unless you get a par meter and check the light intensity values. Even if the par (light intensity) is the same, the spectrum is different and the corals will need time to adjust.

First things first .
welcome to r2r

pictures might help , but a par meter is the best way to get a actual number to map your tank .
