Ahh. CO2 scrubber not all they say

I added a co2 scrubber to my 225 reef. It’s the icecap medium scrubber hold about 2 lbs of media. Hooked it up and 24hrs later the ph has only gone from 7.8 to 7.94. Thought the results would have been better. Is what it is I guess ? How did your results vary ?

Did you add a tablespoon or so of water to the bottom of the reactor? The media needs a little moisture to work best.

Are you recirculating it from the skimmer? Mine brought me up an entire point.

Currently just air front the outside.

Recirculate it and give it a day. Will go up much more.

ill have to try and figure out the recirculate on my deltec 1000ix skimmer... thanks for all input.
