Hey guys, wondering if anyone had any advice on this. I just bought a PAR meter and noticed my 2 AI Primes in my innovative marine 75 EXT weren’t delivering a lot of light. I was hoping to have a few SPS and LPS in my tank. I cranked up the purples and blues all the way and noticed my PAR levels were just barely hovering around 100 at the top of my rocks. I then kicked up the cool white and moonlight and saw it get closer to the 130-140 range. My question is am I making a mistake going so high on the cool whites and any estimates on how long is too long to run the whites? I’m afraid I’m going to get major algae blooms with the whites but without them is it impossible to have SPS?

Have you looked at some of the lighting profiles on AI's website? Most of my LPS are in the 75-125 range, and the half dozen or so SPS maybe 100-150. They seem to be doing good with that level of PAR.

Nice then maybe I’m in ballpark. I’ve looked at the AI presets on their site but I think my cool whites are at a higher percentage just to get in that PAR range. How high are your cool whites?
