My AI Prime 16HD has been working fine, but I wanted to adjust the schedule and it was not connecting, I was getting this message, "BLE Not Connected". I tried to do a factory reset by holding down the gray button for 10+ seconds and nothing happens. The little logo stays green, as it's always been. I then stupidly tried deleting the MyAI app on my phone, assuming the tank would be saved to my profile, but when I downloaded the app and logged in, it deleted my tank. Now it won't find the light when I try to add it back into the app, so who knows if it will still run my schedule or not.

Anyone know how to fix this? I found another thread about the factory reset not working it it sounds like I may need a replacement light. Not sure though.

I was doing the reset wrong, so I got it reset now, but the app still cannot find the light...

edit - Got it figured out now. Had to clear my bluetooth cache on the phone.

Can you run me through how to do that? Steps?
Clear Your Android Device's Bluetooth Cache
  1. Go to the Settings on your Android device.
  2. Select Apps.
  3. Click ⋮ to display your system apps.
  4. Select Bluetooth from the list of apps, then select Storage.
  5. Tap Clear Cache and exit your Settings.
  6. Restart your device and try pairing it to your Reader again.

How do I clear my Bluetooth cache on my iPhone?

How to clear your Bluetooth cache
  1. Go to your iPhone "Settings" app.
  2. Select Bluetooth.
  3. If doppel appears, click the " i " toggle and "forget this device" to clear Bluetooth cache.
  4. Restart your phone.

Edit, checked my phone, no "bluetooth app" but one can clear the cache on any program..
whatever app AI prime uses as an example.
You can "forget" your device under bluetooth as well

Any of this work????

Same problem. Used to work fine before. Went to the app to make an adjustment and it's now showing the "BLE Not Connected" error message.

If I do a factory reset, do I loose the settings? Are the settings stored in the app or the device?

Great questions. I haven't messed with mine since my initial issue years ago. No clue at this point.
