Here is what I have been rocking for a while now. Tank is bigger at 65 gal and I have 3 over my tank but this should work for a single over an EVO.

Not promoting BRS necessarily but I like their video on AI Primes that test PAR and suggest spacing and light settings on several different size tanks, including a couple of nanos.

If you haven't seen it, might be of interest:

BRStv AI Prime 16 HD Testing

*I have a 40 breeder, new to corals, and considering upgrading to 2x AI Prime 16 HD LEDs (at some point) so, personally, I'd probably start with some scaled down (lower intensity) version of the BRS recommendations and see what happens.

Hi waynerock, your tank looks great. With the 3 fixtures have you ever noticed differences in look and/or power output of the three fixtures?

Not really but I have seen one light randomly stay on when the other two go off. It’s weird but the colors are always spot on. I bought all 3 at the same time and the serial numbers are super close so probably made on the same run. Thanks for the kind words about my baby

Thanks. I had 2 prime 16HD on same schedule and par readings on one was way less and colour didn’t match so I thought it was damaged, tried everything. Was about to send in for service but decided to buy a 3rd fixture. After some rearranging, the 3rd one matched perfectly the one I thought was damaged, it seems the one I thought was good is in fact for some reason stuck on a very high intensity and it’s “own schedule”. Now I have a consistent level of intensity across the top middle and bottom on the tank.
