Hey Reefers. I'm thinking of upgrading my lighting again. I have a Biocube 29g with the hood removed with a Kessil A80. LPS/Softie mixed tank currently. Just not getting enough spread or growth.
Debating between a AI Prime HD or if I want to spend the money on a Ecotech XR15 Pro. Anyone have any experience or advice for this?

I use AI Primes HD on my tank, 20 fusion, xr15 is more powerful but the spread is the same, for the price of one ecotech you could almost get two primes.

Right now I have LPS and Soft with 3 Flower Nems. Might try and SPS frag once I get my AI Prime HD set up this week.

What are you going to keep in your tank?
Yeah I'm going to test out the Prime and see. It's what Red Sea is putting on the Nano Max tanks and the Biocube is only slightly larger. My LFS grows SPS in it with ease. I'm not going to be upset if it doesn't work out. My tank is going to be LPS dominant and this tank won't go away.

I had to add the second one because my tank, being 24" wide, was getting shadows on the edges, I've introduced a few SPS frags, after adding the second one, I think they are doing fine, 3 weeks now.
