AI just came up with this LED light fixture. I would like to see if any if our members are using this fixture for their reefs and how it is panning out for them. Especially about the color scheme. Looking forward to hear from our members.

If you scroll down on the sale page it's in bold red letters "Available for pre-orders only" and "coming soon". I'm planning on switching out my MH's to Led and the Radion/Vega war is going on in my head. But the price difference has the Vega winning by $250.

i think it is a start in the right direction in getting a full spectrum led fixture....i use to run ai sol blues and i found it was hit and miss on coloring of my corals. i am a big chalice favia and sps grower and i want all my corals to be beautiful not just 80% of them

Oh okay. Also did they say that we will need to buy that adapter for $250.00 for controlling leds wirelessly, or will it be built into the vega?

Now that the ship date is scheduled (looks like one week to distributors)... Is anyone ordering a Vega? If so; "color" or "blue" version?

I'm gonna go ahead and give these a try.I'm old school and I love my halides but I'm open to new ideas so it'll be interesting to see what kind of results I will get.

There is a fair amount of people w them on their tanks already. First shipment prob just sold out. There is a long thread reviewing the vega in the lighting forum.

Just wish there were more pics an YouTube of them.

I really would love to go this route but want to wait to see how the do w acans. They are notorious for not doing great under LEDs.
