yea I noticed they grow in my sump where no light growsOk so I have a mantis tank, that gets light from my bedroom ceiling fan for about 4 hours a day. The mantis is happy, living in what I call the dead reef.
But lo and behold aiptasia!!!! Not even algae can grow in this tank..... it’s been up since January with NO LIGHT!!!
I am going to leave it in the tank, because it’s earned it’s right lol.
majano nems? possible pestDoes anyone know if this is aiptasia? It was a hitchhiker on a hermit crab, now there’s about a hundred of them that keep popping up. They look like mini bubble anemones with green bubbles.
I don’t know if it’s been for nothing. I read A little up on them after @Tamberav post, doesn’t sound like a good thing. They were a huge headache for some in other threads. Good luck.been killing them for nothing!
Yea, if you read the thread, they grow in some crazy places. 100% hardest thing I now know of in a reef lolyea I noticed they grow in my sump where no light grows
