I have 2 Aiptasias growing on my Trumpet corals. 54 gal tank is only a little over 3 months old and so far these are the only 2 I have seen. LFS suggested F-aiptasia over Red Sea Aiptasia-X but have read reviews where it did not work well on vertical surfaces so sounds like I will have to remove the corals from the tank which is not a big deal. Not knowing if they has spread, would it be advisable to get a true peppermint shrimp or other aiptasia predator creature? Thanks!

I personally would not suggest either. If you do not get it exactly right the first time, you will have tenfold more in a month. I would start with peppermint shrimp (which are not in season currently) and if that didn’t work, bite the bullet and go for Berghia Nudibranchs
