I've had this Conch Shell for like 15 years. It's been through all my tanks. I think this is Aiptasia, but it could be something else...

Weird. This piece and my display tanks have never had Aiptasia. Nothing else in the tank has Aiptasia.

This new tank has been up for 8 months...no Aiptasia.

I reimported Aiptasia back in my display a year back on a clam. Have not gotten rid of it , but for whatever reason it does not do well. I kill one a month only . Same stuff proliferates like crazy in my frag tank, go figure.

I know what that stuff is, If you run out send me a PM. I have tons in my quarantine and a little extra in my displays.
I bought a copper band two weeks ago, He died in quarantine in a week. I have a file fish in quarantine and I'm fattening up the Aiptasia for him when he's released.
You can't make this crap up....
