I guess I’m an outlier who had the same results with F-Aiptasia as I did with aiptasia-X.

they just come back after a couple weeks

Mine did too. Thats why im being persistant now and turning over all my rocks, pulling them out and placing them in a smaller tank for observation before placing in my new system to help seed more microfauna to my new marcorock display.

Aiptasia X has worked fine for me. I'm not even that careful with it so I'm sure I've spread them some but they've yet to grow back where I've used it. The only place I've had an outbreak since using it is in the overflows where I can't really get to them.

Looks like I might be returning mine! My bottle just came in today. Do you have a recommendation on eradication methods that have worked for you?
I tried kalkwasser powder in water as thick as would still move through the syringe. Pumps off, hit the nems and followed to the base. 3 of 4 dead on 1st application.

I know this is an old tread. But killing Aiptasia is a war of attrition. I had great success killing them back with Aiptasia X followed by adding a file fish and peppermint shrimp. The Aiptasia X will give you a "foot hold" in the war. File fish and Peppermint shrimp will get the rest and keep them gone. This is alot better than loosing your rock and corral to the Aiptasia. Just remember its a war. -And keeping a file fish and some peppermint shrimp goes a long way to preventing an infestation.
