I have a 5 gallon Evo 5 reef. I'm getting increasing numbers of aiptasia. I've applied Aiptasia X a number of times but as a some of you have posted, the aiptasia keeps returning in even greater numbers. BRS recently recommended Aiptasia F and discouraged the use of Aiptasia X. I haven't tried this yet. So if this doesn't work I'd like to try a pepperment shrimp but I'm worried it might kill my two sexy shrimp. Any advice?

Chemical dosing to get rid of aiptasia will take some time... Weeks or months ... Not days to kill this pest. Peppermint shrimp will eat them to the point of eradicate them. If you can remove the rock from your tank you spray/soak the rock in hydrogen peroxide and it will kill aiptasia or any pest INSTANTLY.

Peppermints might eat the aiptasia but might also eat corals or nems. And ya, aiptasia x is total garbage
