Yes a real nice one this would be an easy one to kill. Get some super glue and completely cover the offending aiptasia to kill it.

With a syringe squirt lemon juice or kalk mixed with water right into its core and watch it disintegrate.

I used aiptasia x on big ones and let peppermint shrimp get the little guy. Not a single aiptasia in my tank since, and it's been years.

I have tried several treatment methods for Aiptasia and have had mixed results. The only thing that I have seen work every time is F-Aiptasia Killer.

I just added a copperband butterfly and it eliminated at least 50 aiptasia in 3 days.

Pyramid butterflies are also effective and reef safe. If you can find them, berghia nudibranchs are awesome. Just make sure you have lots of aiptasia or somewhere to rehome them after, or they will starve

Really good advice above, but could you not just bin the frag plug? There’s nothing good on it.

Looks like some blue sympodium on it, so if you are not worried about losing it, I agree, I'd toss the plug. Sympodium can become a nuisance

Thank you. I hope so. They retract with lightning speed when I even get near it or fish swims by.

I agree with @dwest. Aiptasia retract, but usually not as quickly as Feather dusters. Aiptasia sometimes will need to be touched a couple of times, whereas if you get close to a Feather duster it is already retracting. Based on your last comment that supports the idea that it is likely a Feather duster.
