Hey everyone,

Had these 2 zoa frags for prolly 3 months now, today noticed something perking out of the side of one today...looks like Aiptasia to me. REALLY?! 3 months in and thats what I get?!

Anywho, just want to clarify with yall if that's in fact what I'm seeing. This is my contemplating mind:

1. Get rid of the frags entirely -- paid 10-20 for each frag...but whose to say wont run into this again.

2. Aiptasia-X -- heard good and bad about this.

3. Glue -- but won't it still be chilling and multiplying just waiting to come out again?!

4. Buy fish/inverts-- then gotta quarentine it etc...and find a store that carries the type.

Sorry for the rant, but please tell me is Aiptasia

Can you circle what you are looking at? I don’t see any aptasia.

If it is aptasia, I find aptasia-x to be highly effective.

That appears to be a feather duster.
Is that a calcified tube its peeking out of? If so, definitely a duster and NOT aiptasia.

Totally a feather duster. A welcomed hitchhiker in my tanks.
