Pretty amazing build. Just made it through this whole thread.
One question, how much does your wife think this whole thing cost? My standard rule is to divide every price by 3 when I get the cost questions.
That’s a good wife. I like this stuff and even I won’t pay for a WWC bounce. Unfortunately mine still freaks out even when I tell her the one third price for things. Thanks I am glad you enjoyed the thread and the setup. It is a bit of a read now to get through the whole thing. I found that with this build honesty was the best policy when it came to costs. My wife is fully aware of the cost and when I started the build I gave her an estimated cost for the setup without livestock. With fish and corals she does attend shows and in fact she even got me a WWC bounce as a gift. I have just been slowly stocking up the tanks to spread the cost out on livestock.

The fish are all doing great and some of them are growing like weeds. The corals for the most part are doing well. I had something happen a few weeks back and I lost some of my SPS. Not sure if its chemical warfare or a water quality issue but some of them bleached. I also lost two LPS corals. One of the LPS corals I suspect was killed by the bubble coral sweepers and the other just slowly withered away. The only water parameter that I saw was off was the P04 but some algae harvesting seemed to take care of that issue. I did have some additional maintenance that was needed so I swapped out all of my RO prefilters and DI stages, replaced my T5 bulbs, and did a 100 gallon water change over the last couple of weeks. Everything seems to be stabilized. The frag tank I installed is a project on hold. I installed lights over the tank but I have not programmed them yet. While I was observing bioluminescence one night I checked the frag tank for activity and there was a lot visible by what I suspect are worms. I am going to try and divert some efforts into studying these organisms to learn more about them and this frag tank seems to be a predator free environment where they thrive. It has also been a busy summer so the tanks are running on auto pilot for the most part right now and I have not had the time to conduct any research. I will see if I can get around to posting some pictures this weekend.
Tanks look great. Saw you at RAP and wanted to come up and introduce myself but at that moment you were in a conversation with someone. Didn’t want to butt in or lurk so moved on. Just wanted to tell you that I enjoyed your systems, R2R content and YouTube content as well. Thanks!
