I have had my 35 gallon saltwater tank with a lominie light up for about 4 months now. It has been doing okay I think. I am having some issues with my zoas and algea on the glass. On my latest water test my calcium was 420 ppm, magnesium was 1300 ppm, and alk was 7.8 dkh.
In the tank I have 2 clowns, a lawnmower blenny, a yellow gobby, 2 shrimps, an emerald crab, 3 hermit crabs, and 3 turbo snails. I have a few different different corals as well. Some zoas, a frogspawn, a mushroom, and a hard coral (can’t remember the name). My mushroom is doing really well, but my zoas are having a hard time I think. They aren’t opening all of the way. What should I be doing differently to help them do better? Or is there something I should be dosing the tank with?
I have brown algea growing on the glass that I cannot seem to get rid of. I scrub it off, doing water changes every other week. But it always comes back. I also have my lights set to run for 10 hours instead of 12, I thought that would help but it didn’t
What should I do?? Here are some pictures of the tank!
