I am slowly stocking my first reef tank the only fish in right now is a yellow watchman goby. The tank has been running for two months now and I want to get an tail spot blenny or starry blenny. The only algae I have had is this hard green algae that doesn’t brush off. Is this something a blenny can eat or do they eat more of the hair algae variety? This picture is of a piece of rubble rock I got with coralline algae. The rest of the rock in my tank is just starting to get spots of coralline. I just want to make sure he has algae to graze on when between feedings. I can also get two clownfish and wait on the blenny till more algae is present as I’m assuming it will.
