hey guys

still not sure what this is.. Under White Lights it is totally green.

turbo snails will eat that?
Unfortunately my tank is to small for a foxface or tang to help.

I cannot brush the algae, it sits to hard on the rocks.

cheers m8

I think i see some gha and also some turf type algae (though both gha and turf are just generic names that encompass countless specific algaes). Generally speaking though a turf algae does not grow as long, is a little harder to manually remove, and less things are more likely to eat it. Urchins are the best "predator" for naturally eradicating turf algae in my opinion. Might be worth finding the smallest one you can. In a small tank it may fairly quickly run out of food though so be prepared to trade/give back to store.

Well ok, my neighboor has an urchin to sell. Its the Tripneustes gratilla and I hope this one would help getting rid of that stuff. What you think?
