Algae id please

Hello everyone. I’ve let my tank set for a couple years with just live rock, a few corals, crabs and snails. No fish. Today I tested phosphate was zero and nitrates zero. I tested because I have a green algae or something starting on my rocks. So wasn’t expecting zero per se. Nitrates are 3ppm. Kessil lights with 4 T5s at 11 months old.

Rock was from brs. Mined in MN. Been in the tank for 8 years. 2 bubble corals. 4 mushroom ricordia. 2 small cabbage coral frags. a galaxae coral. Various snails and small hermit crabs. 1 Halloween hermit. Red Sea reefer 250. I have fed nothing for two years. Other than some rare rare carbon filter for a day. Nothing. Haven’t run my skimmer either. 25 gallon sump. Various power heads and a cross wave/flow pump in tank. Somw new pics attached.

OK. So tank is 8 years mature, used dry rock to cycle and for the last two years with no feed: only lights & circulation.

What’s changed in 2 years? Have you tried a toothbrush? Is algae soft, hard, slippery or spongy?

I really don’t see much of anything in your pictures.

The green splotches on the rocks is what I’m curious about. I can see the green in the pics on the rocks? I do need to clarify. It’s not necessarily that is just started showing up. I’ve just noticed more as I’m getting back involved with my tank. I snagged a toothbrush. It’s solid and doesn’t scrub off easily. So perhaps a green coralline algae? Thoughts ?
