I have some kind of brown algae and green algae covering all my rocks and sand and frankly I’m sick of it lol.

Im wondering if it’s as simple as from my tap water as it seemed to get really bad when I stopped using rodi water. Is this possible it?

phosphate 0.05
Low nitrates
Feed fish tiny dose daily.

Water changes weekly to for nightly.

I was dosing nopox couple weeks ago and that seemed to help bringing the phosphates down as they were 0.30 at one stage.

Yes. The tap water. You are constanly adding silicates and other tds.
Additives for tap water ect. to your tank if your topping off with it and doing wcs with it.

There is a reason people spend hundreds of dollars on RODI systems. In all honesty, stop using tap water and dose the appropriate amount of Reef flux for your size tank, and wait 10-14 days, you'll have zero algae.
