Hi Reefers,

I have a new tank almost 3 months now , Evo 13.5 all cycled just have 2 nassarius snails and a hermit crab. I am planning on getting a pair of storm Clownfish. My PH is around 7.8 -8.0 and I tested my alkalinity today for the first time and it was around 11. Is this normal for standard instant ocean salt ? And will this affect fish at all or only corals?

Many thanks.

Mainly corals and 11 is fine.
