Am I looking at 2 problems?

Can anyone give me an ID on these white things at the base of the coral in pic 1 and the brown things on snail shell in pic 2?

1) pineapple sponges and spirorbid worms (harmless filter feeders)
2) vermetid worms (remove from snail shell or anything else outside of tank if possible) these are more of an irritant to things than harmful.
