Hello I have a question. I have a quar·an·tine tank 3 and a 1/2 gallons with one small fish in their salt water. I have a pretty high ammonia spike. I did almost half of the water change yesterday. Ammonia still showing high. I'm considering doing about 80% With the fishing there Still Of course. Any other suggestions?

Having some sort of biological filter is a must even in a quarantine tank.
Without a biological filter, the ammonia will keep building up.

All the answers above are great and you should follow them. In addition, you could help seeding with biospira or something similar. Before you do that you need substrate that is not going to increase the ammonia with additional die-off (live rock from your own DT, Marine Pure Block or Eshoops Biolux)
