Snails and urchins do fine with my puffer, crabs and shrimp would be a well appreciated snack. I wouldn't suggest putting them in with corals.

I've got some palys and an elephant ear mushroom, and a toadstool in with mine. S
If they eat em oh well... Kinda hoping the toadstool grows out for the clown.

I feed mine pretty heavy with clam and FW snails, which has contributed to an algae problem I have... but the puffer stays away from all corals. It took a nip out of a sponge a few months ago, but it didn't really eat it.

Freshwater snails h they will eat those? I have mussels, and shell on shrimp in the freezer for mine.

I have a low maintenance 20G planted FW tank dedicated to growing these,

Pond snails. They're my puffers favorite food. They get at most 1 CM long, depending on how long I let them grow before I take them.

Those snails are likely good to keep their teeth in check. The coral thing is an individual thing, if you get a rambunctious one they can cause some serious damage. I wouldn't care either.
