haha honestly probobly only a month-I cant really say exactly what I am doing at school but I am at the point where I can get a ricordea to heal into a full polyp in 2 days and grow back to original size at an incredible rate-so after my work is done up here in May I will probobly have a lot of them-I will save you one no problem!

ahh i wish I could, but unfortunatly I cant say much at the moment, allthough I will let you know that you can have them under considerably brighter light than yumas (you may have to adjust them to it)-give them a really high PAR level with your lighting and make sure there is plenty of nutrients for them. Other than that I cant really say much else, sorry

Is it best to target feed each polyp or just feed the tank and let them catch they food?

Ah-HA !!! So you are the one that outbid me! I would have gone way past $150 for those true yellows but I was unfortunately away from the internet when the auction ended (something I couldn't avoid). Ah well, nice score.

Here's some yellows I used to have (so mad they melted when tank crashed)...

And here's one nearly solid yellow I've got now...

Hey, Just joined up on Club-Zoa. Since this thread is about ricordias. I thought I would ask what lighting everyone is using? Im trying to decide on 75 gallon tank, zoanthid and ricordia dominated. I was wondering what lighting people are having the best success with for raising both zoos and rics.

Thanks so much,

Dallas

If you go with Metal Halide or T5 youll get the best results:)

And welcome to Club-Zoa!
