Glued in 50 corals from the frag racks, cleaned the bin #1, removed the racks, 200 gallon water change, moved clown tang, blonde naso, pajama cardinals, blennys and all fish from the bin to the show... restacked rock in bin... removed a ton of detritus from under the racks and a few other things

Whoa, amazing build! Can I ask what pump you use to power that closed loop?

AMAZING! made it through all 24 pages. you good Sir are the man!
do you build tanks or just for your self? soon i'll be in the market for a 300+ tank.

tank skimmer is a best. sorry it took so long to get it up and running.
hmm any info on this concrete tank. I have been thinking of the same just alot smaller but not much info on them.

how did the queen and emp. get along when you had both together?

Did you talk to Bill about welding acrylic? He had some comments about what to use that most folks don't do, that would result in a better bond, apparently AE uses it when they make tanks.

Any chance you could do a video walkthrough of that skimmer and its connections? It'd be cool to see how it operates including the rinse-down.

Your system is awesome! I am part of the high phosphate crew too... I need to buy some lanthanum.

Thanks for your response! Yes, I just build cool stuff for myself right now. that 300 is a great size!!

There is not a lot of information on concrete tank builds. I will lean on Bill W a bit when it gets closer... I’ll share anything cool that I find on the subject, so far it’s been minimal.

The two angels did great together with the queen being the alpha and the emperator lurking in the background.

Bill sent me his glue but it took so long To get all the pieces it’s now outdated (the secret sauce doesn’t last very long once mixed)

I haven’t set up the wash down station yet, it’s plumed for it, and I finally got all the parts. When I get it up and running I will share how it works.

I can now keep my PO4 under control even with it leaching out on a weekly basis. I highly recommend LC for keeping this in check in a large system!! Let me know if I can help you with anything when you go to does LC!

Thanks for your thoughts!
