Have those same squares in my basement :)

Good call. I’ve had some spills and I just pop them up and blow a fan on it for a day.

They are also softer to walk on then concrete and I try and spend a ton of time in the fish room standing around looking at fish and corals!! Stoked!!

I tried to match the ones I have from 11 years ago but these are harder and a darker black than the row behind the sump under the window!

Thanks!!! I like that idea much better than a clip of any type. The fish have to work a bit for it and can only get little bits off at a time. To me it would encourage more of a typical grazing behavior!
Agreed, Plus when your fish get big they just pull the full sheet off of the clip and eat it all down at once. The stick approach allows them to graze from 360 degrees and by making it a bit longer more fish can graze at a time! ;)

Gotta admit sad to see the bigs leaving
Truth be told I am too... but I will buy smaller ones and regrow them back up... I am keeping my favorites and there is already a new pecking order happening in the tank!! When the smoke clears I'll provide an updated fish list in the 720.

Man i know this fish are going to a great new home, but I would have hit you up hard for some of those beauties if we didn’t live 1k miles apart. Preparing to stock my 650!

Right on! I would have shipped them to you. Wasn't really planning on it but Scheels makes it easy because they take them all at once so it's just one quick thrash around the tank then its over!!

Well after hours of fishing I caught the last vlamingi using the food in the net trick.

Then tore the tank apart using every net in the house and finally caught the dussumieri in a trout net with the lights off and a flashlight spotlighted on him! Netted him at 12:30 in the morning!!

Too many hours (5) spent chasing him all over the tank!! Had some help from my wife and oldest son telling me where he was in the rockwork. Funny thing was by the end they had names for all the tunnels and arches in the reef!! Like he’s in the “normal spot”. Now he moved to the “end tunnel”! He’s in the “front middle rock” where he likes to go! Too funny!!
