Hi yall. I am having a some trouble with a green BTA anemone. I put it in about a week ago and it seemed to be doing fine. It has also been hiding under a cave for that week however. It looked just fine yesterday and then this morning it wasn’t looking its best. I feel like it looks pretty deflated, but also half of it looks alright. All water parameters are normal and have stayed constant since it was added. Should I be super worried/ put it in a hospital tank(if so what is the best way to do that without damaging it)?

This anemone looks fine. I'd leave it be for now. A week in your tank is still brand new, give it time to settle in.

The mantra I was taught on this forum which has served me well in my anemone keeping journey:

"If it's not moving, and it's not dead, it's probably happy"

Doesnt look too bad to me. Try a small water change and see how if its condition improves

Hey yall, this is the anemone a few days later, all the water parameters are still normal and consistent, even checked by my local fish store just to be sure. But I feel like it is just deteriorating. I might just be way to cautious/anxious with the tank but would like the experts opinions on what to do. Again he has been in there about a a week and a half now and the tank has been running for about 4 1/2 years.

Just hiding they do this . Just getting acclimatized to your reef it's New home
Things to watch out for gaping mouth. Loosing tentacles. Smell of death when smelling your surface water. Not attached to rock or structure. Photos in white light would give members a better idea on condition
Wishing you the best of luck going forward

Ok! Thank you. Here are some more photos under white light. I also spot fed it 2 days ago, could that have something to do with it?
