Is it a problem of Mobius with radion lights ? Because for pump like MP40 , it works like a charm for me ...
May be for MP40 but not for radion. My argument is who in the right state of mind build an software platform over bluetooth in modern world when everything is cloud based. Bluetooth is a fragile local connection in my experience and in reefing business its always a bad idea. When you are trying to build your own control platform it can not be and should not be based on bluetooth.

Yellow tangs are boring! Seriously! Way over-rated!
Lol, mine is actually docile because of his brother the desjardini. They have actually grown together from day 1. I like them because they bring brightness to the reef but other than that they are not much of entertainer.

Mobius is always up and down

Hard to believe this is still going on with their lights.

If it was not EcoTech (with their old reputation) they would be drug down the road.

I dont know why these company can not stick to things which they do best. Why neptune have to make lights, pumps etc and why ecotech has to build control platform. Why they can not be like ATI or royal exclusive who just make few thing and they are good quality stuff and they don't wander everywhere.

@GoVols Freddie, here is our happy Moor. Its very hard to take a good picture of him. He is fast and like to swim all around. Only way to take picture is when you lure him to food. He will stay when he possibly see food in my hand. The other problem is the copperband who needs to be present in all the pictures.

The stare when he figures out I am not feeding and just bluffing.

And Mr. photogenic.... just see the size difference but they are buddies.

Moorish are just so iconic, really makes me want to take the chance on another
They are iconic. My earlier one was good. This one is behaving well. The trickiest part is to feed them heavy. I feed 3 times a day frozen food to all my fishes. Still the Moor finishes at least 2 full sheets of nori before afternoon and wants more.

They sure look good together.

Not a spot of fin rot on your Moorish!

Do you feel like his streamer is making headway?

Had one a few years ago for just shy of a year, ate like a champ then one morning belly up :(

Went a little more mixed reef these days and not sure I want to risk my LPS too haha

Gorgeous! Definitely going to have a moorish idol at some point. It has to be one of the most beautiful fish out there. Just such elegant colors!

If you can find one which is fat and healthy. But then some of them are just moody so they will refuse to eat. They also need some time to get used to the tank and their surroundings.

They are definitely one of the fish worth putting the work in to! I've had good luck dealing with NY Aquatics, so I think I would trust him to find me a good moorish when the time comes. I've seen a couple on Divers Den lately, but they have looked pretty skinny.

Great build!! Love the moorish idol! Keep us all posted.

Nigel
Thanks Nigel,

Yup he is a character as well as the copperband. His fin is getting longer each day. Only problem is he eats atleast 4 full nori sheets each day by himself. My wife thinks he is getting too fat and want a diet chart for him.. :p

Update update update.....

Some of you may remember that I was trying to get some fishes from legendary TSM aquatics. So I finally got in touch with them last month and Matt helped me order some fishes. It took more than a month to finally get them but I must say that I am pretty happy with my decision. All the fishes are super healthy and look fabulous. I am planning to get the last few fishes from them which will include a achilles tang, few wrasses and anthias.

Now the next set of pictures are not for faint hearted so behold.
