Have Apex currently running and need additional power for several things and want to be able to control them. Is another EB832 worth additional money over EB8. What are your thoughts

Thanks for the reply leepink23.. I mean we are only talking additional $100 for 832 and some additional features. $100 in the hobby is just a drop in the bucketTo me it depends on what you are going to put on them, when I added 2 Orphek bars I didn’t go for an 832 because I wasn’t concerned with the individual power. If adding pumps I could see benefit in the 832. If money isn’t a concern the 832 would be the way to go because it gives a lot of additional features.
Power monitoring alone worth the difference.

I'd agree. Plus you never know what future toy you're going to have plugged in the energy bar that needs monitoring or needs programing based on the wattage/amperage is drawing or not drawing.
Good points, that’s why I went with the eb4Not a fan of the EB8; most of the outlets are on TRIAC electronic switches rather than mechanical relays.
I do like the EB4, though; all mechanical relays and 1 is rated for 12A (more than any single outlet on the EB832).

Did you like the EB8I run dual . I have an EB8 connected to my EB32.
I may be selling an Extra EB8 I have and not using. It is currently plugged in but I have nothing plugged into it
Thanks.. I leaning towards just getting another EB832.. Its only $100 bucks more..I have a mixture of EB832 (two), EB8 (three) and EB4 (two). If I were to need additional outlets, I’d probably just buy another 832 at this point. I have not, and probably will not, replace 8s with 832s, but I do think the latter are worth the premium based on power monitoring and the extra utility outlets.
Yes- works just fine with the EB8-32Did you like the EB8
